Hyderabad, February 18: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would hold roadshows in all the districts to highlight the new community-based schemes which he proposes to announce in the budget.

KCR will also explain various welfare measures taken up by the government since it came to power. Since the government is mid way of its tenure, the Chief Minister has decided to embark on regular visits to all the districts to ascertain the progress in the implementation of welfare and developmental programs.

Interact with rural folk in the gram sabha (village meetings) to feel the pulse of the people.Top officials of the CMO (Chief Minister Office) briefed The Hans India that KCR, who kick-started 'Janahitha' program on Friday, would continue to do so addressing the grievances of people at the camp office.

Similarly, the Chief Minister is keen to visit all districts and review the progress of the government welfare programs. This will also give him first-hand information about the administration in the newly-carved districts.

He will give necessary instructions to the Collectors and other officials on all such issues, the sources said.

He is also likely to visit social welfare residential educational institutions, including the new institutions and Gurukulams, opened for SC, ST, BC and minority communities to provide corporate level education to the poor students and would also be included in KCR's tour.

A special vehicle equipped with hi-tech facilities would be used during his 2-month long schedule, sources said.
