2 men raped minor girl who was mentally disorder

Hyderabad, February 16: A 15-year-old mentally-challenged minor girl was brutally assaulted by two persons in old city.Those culprits have been arrested by Moghulpura police.

The girl is being sent to Bharosa Centre on Thursday. The victim is a resident of a Sultan Shahi in the Old City of Hyderabad.

Police said that the accused took the victim to a house belonging to one Rahul in Lalitabagh in Chatrinaka and sexually assaulted her. The incident took place on February 10 and the accused are Ajay (18) and Karan (21).

The accused have been booked under sections of the 376, 354 (d) and 366 (A) of the IPC and section 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Girl's father Narsing filed a missing report on February 10; however, the girl returned to home herself next day. Father told police said that girl herself described the harassment meted out to her. The police have since lodged a case.

"The girl is unable to tell us clearly what transpired on that day. Efforts are on to find out", an official said.
