Revanth reddy alleges TRS govt for not keeping its promises

Siddipeta, February 16: Telangana Telugu Desam Party (TTDP) working president A. Revanth Reddy had alleged on the state's ruling party about their promises.

Going to matter, As many as 3,500 farmers had committed suicide in Telangana after formation of new State, second highest number after Maharashtra, Revanth Reddy said adding that Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government has failed to keep its promises.

Addressing the well-attended Praja Poru at headquarters of the constituency represented by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday, Mr. Revanth Reddy said that only 950 double bedroom houses were built in the State despite Centre sanctioning 1,200 crore. The amount and the 799 crore input subsidy released by Centre was diverted, he said.

"Come to Chintamadaka, your native village, and prove what you have done to the people there. Also, tell us what was done at the native village of Professor Jayashankar. As much as 5 lakh crore was spent by the government in the past 33 months but not single promise fulfilled," Mr. Reddy said and promised to support farmers fighting for compensation under Land Acquisition Act – 2013 at Vemulaghat and under Kondapochamma reservoir.

Party senior leader R. Chandrasekhar Reddy announced that similar meetings will be held in constituencies of all 18 ministers.
