2.5 lakh new admissions in govt schools in AP

As per the latest buzz on social media, a total of 2.5 lakh students have newly joined government schools in Andhra Pradesh for this academic year.

Incidentally, the government of Andhra Pradesh is implementing Nadu-Nedu program which is aimed at increasing the standards of education and amenities at government schools. Upgrading all government schools to English medium institutions is a part of the same.

Also, the government is planning to improve the sanitation, drinking water facility, and education standards at government schools. Consequently, 2.5 lakh new admissions were registered in government schools across the state. This happened in just a year after YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was voted to power.

If the state government lives up to its promise and provides quality education at government schools, we can expect more admissions in the coming years.

The state government is also providing free uniforms and shoes to students who are willing to go to government schools.
