AP has hiked liquor prices by big margin

As per the latest regulations released by the government of India, liquor shops across the country which are in green and orange zones have been opened today.

The central government had ordered that not more than 5 people should stand in queues near liquor outlets and all of them should be wearing masks without fail.

Coming to the topic, the government of Andhra Pradesh has hiked liquor prices by big margin. From today, a liquor bottle which was previously priced at Rs 120 Rs 150 will be sold for Rs 40 more than its usual price. The price of a bottle which was previously sold for Rs 150 or more will be hiked by Rs 60. The prices of pint beer and normal beer have been hiked by Rs 20, and 30 respectively.

Andhra Pradesh government is on course to implement a complete liquor ban in the state and taking necessary measures in this regard. Sale of liquor in Andhra Pradesh will be limited only to star hotels by 2024.

As per latest reports, liquor outlets in Delhi witnessed massive crowds and the police could not control them. Consequently, all the liquor stores were shut down with immediate effect.
