CM KCR Bold Decision

The government of Telangana has announced that it will be cutting the salaries of government employees in order to cut down the expenses in these tough times.

The salaries of the chief minister, cabinet ministers, MLAs, MPs, and MLCs will be cut by 75%. The salaries of IAS, IPS, and IFS officers will be cut by 60%. The rest of the government employees will be receiving half their salaries this month.

4th grade, and outsourcing employees' salaries will be cut by 10%. The government order confirming the same was released a short while back.

Big chunk of this money will be utilised to develop medical facilities in order to fight the Coronavirus.

Andhra Pradesh government is yet to take the final decision regarding the decrement in salaries of government employees.
