Krishnamurthy made some surprising statements

Former Deputy Chief Minister and Senior TDP leader KE Krishnamurthy made some surprising statements about the Capital in AP. He stated that if the capital is not built in Amaravati, the only other choice should be Kurnool.

Speaking to the media, the TDP leader said, "There have been so many chief ministers from Rayalaseema but it is still gravely underdeveloped. If we are demanding for a High Court, it means we want a capital around the city as well."

The TDP leader also stated that the cost of building a capital in Amaravati would be quite high so the better option would be Kurnool as it already has 30,000 acres lying empty in the Orvakallu district.
