Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfraz Ahmed has said that incidents like comparing him with 'pig' hurt him, but he can do nothing to avoid them and appeal for not misbehaving just by criticizing him.

The national team was heavily criticized by Pakistani fans after losing 89 runs against arch-rival India in Manchester during the World Cup (ICC Cricket World Cup 2019). Sarfraz was then seen carrying his son on his lap in cargo in England, while a fan stopped him and asked why he looked like a fat pig. The case was then heated up.

The Pak captain said on this "I can't say anything about it. "If we were to be criticized by the teams in the past, we would have felt how much pain these things would hurt us. Further, they say that now is social media, people who write, speak and comment whatever they want. It affects the mentality of the player," he said.
