Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna has risen to the top notch within no time and she recently signed up to do a Tamil film alongside Sivakarthikeyan and had to decline Mahesh's 'Sarileru Neekevaru' due to lack of dates.

However, the actress walked out of her Tamil film after finding out that her character has no depth and is only an element of glamour in the film. Reportedly, she immediately expressed interest to work in the Anil Ravipudi directorial alongside Mahesh.

This is indeed a good step to take against the characterization of female roles in commercial films. It must have sent a message to the directors that Rashmika is very particular about the script.
