Priya Vadlamani falls in the hands of Ravi Babu

Hyderabad, Apr 13: Looks like there's a change of guard for Priya Vadlamani! The actress, who has earlier been part of romantic entertainers like Premaku Raincheck, Subhalekha, and Husharu, has now signed a drama thriller. The film is being directed by Ravi Babu and the actress has already begun shooting for it.

Sharing details about the film, Priya said, "I have only done romantic films so far, so thriller is a new genre for me. In fact, that is why I’ve signed this film. Also, since Ravi Babu sir really knows how to bring the best out in an actor, I believe that this role will bring out different sides of me as an actor."

The Mumbai-based actress did not want to disclose much about her role. She said, “My role is one of the key elements in the film that will drive its narrative. It is impactful and very natural. This is one of those characters about which I’ll learn more on the sets as the film progresses. I am glad to get the opportunity to be part of a concept-based film."
