Finally, Rajinikanth's 2.0 Teaser released

Hyderabad: Finally, after many long delays, The much-anticipated teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth's science fiction thriller 2.0 is released on the eve of Vinayaka Chaviti.

The 90 seconds teaser is a scintillating cut which takes us through a brief ride into what could be Shankar’s ambitious magnum opus providing an enthralling visual experience with eye-popping VFX effects and strong technical bravura.



As the film is made with a staggering budget by Lyca Productions, each frame is lavishly mounted with heavy VFX break down and bears Shankar's mark to the fullest.

The teaser starts off with an interesting scene in which a mass destruction of cell phones is caused sending people into panic and signals an imminent danger to human beings. What follows next is a faceoff between the humanised Robot ‘Chitti’ led by Scientist Vaseegaran and the Crow Man played by Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar who is pitted against mankind.

Oscar winner AR Rahman comes up with another electronica-style composition for the background score and it elevates the proceedings in the teaser and the cinematography is also terrific.

All in all, the teaser of 2.0 promises another visual spectacle from master storyteller Shankar this November.
