Senior TRS leaders quits the Party

Hyderabad: In the latest political development, Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) party senior leader Kondakandla Venkat Reddy of Aswaraopeta constituency in Khammam has planned to quit the party along with few other leaders. He is a renowned politician in Chundrugonda and Annapureddypalle mandals of the district.

Venkat Reddy who was the staunch follower of former minister Jalagam Prasad Rao began his political career when the late chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy was serving as a Congress leader. Venkat Reddy rendered his services to the Congress party and also played a crucial role in emerging the party victorious in Kothagudem constituency. He later moved to YSR Congress party.

Venkat Reddy joined the TRS party a few years ago along with another key leader from Congress party Thati Venkateshwarlu, who also resigned the party two days before the Pragati Nivedana Sabha.

It is learned that the former minister Jalagam Prasad Rao held talks with Kodakandla Venkat Reddy about the political developments in the state.

Jalagam also announced that he will contest from any of the constituencies in united Khammam district extending his support to Congress party. And now, it has been made clear that the Venkat Reddy will soon join Congress party along with other leaders who resigned to TRS party.
