Selfie with Nandamuri Harikrishna's dead body

Four members of the nursing staff at Kamineni Hospital at Narkatpally in Hyderabad have been terminated from service after their insensitive act of taking selfies with the dead body of Nandamuri Harikrishna drew criticism on social media.

The four staffers at the body cleaning and packing room clicked selfies, with broad smiles on their faces.

The body of Harikrishna was on the table for the process, after the doctors declared him dead.

In yet another incident, a video of a man taking a selfie with Harikrishna's pyre also went viral.

The picture that has since then gone viral over social media and has received sharp criticism from social media users for their insensitivity. Many had called for the individuals to be removed from their jobs.

"This is too bad and can't believe. We are living in this society and can go such low (sic)," said Ashfaq Hussain Syed on a Facebook comment section.
