BJP Leader GVL Narasimha Rao's Car thrashed two women, 1 killed

Guntur, Aug 25: In a ghastly incident, BJP National Spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao's vehicle thrashed two women on Friday evening killing one and injuring another.
The mishap occurred under the jurisdiction of the Tadepalli police in Guntur district.
According to the reports, the two women, hailing from Mangalagiri had attended a function and were crossing the road, when the MP's vehicle hit them.
While one of them succumbed to death on the spot, another has been shifted to the Government General Hospital (GGH) in Vijayawada.
The MP's vehicle was heading to Vijayawada from Guntur. A case has been registered under Section 304A (Causing death by negligence) and 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code.
The driver has been taken into custody and will be produced in front of a local magistrate soon.
However, the police stated that they were unaware of the whereabouts of the MP who is yet to issue an official statement on the issue.
Many on the social media alleged that the MP chose to get into another car and leave the scene, instead of helping the accident victim.
