AP CM Chandrababu and YS Jagan extends Bakrid Greetings

Hyderabad, Aug 22: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP National President Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu have extended his greetings for the Bakrid festival being celebrated today.

"On this solemn occasion, I convey my heartfelt greetings to my Muslim Brethren. May 'Id ul Zaha', the Festival of Sacrifice, rekindle in us the spirit of sacrifice, promote qualities of sharing and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and harmony," the Chief Minister said.

He added that "May the spirit of #Eid fill your hearts with happiness and good cheer. #EidAlAdha Mubarak to everyone! Let love and peace prevail among the Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion."

The leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy greeted Muslim brethren in the two Telugu speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the eve of Bakrid.

YS Jagan said that Bakrid represented the messages of sacrifice and patience. He called upon all the Muslims to remember messiah of God, Ibrahim and celebrate the festival of Bakrid. The blessings of Allah would be there for everyone, always, YS Jagan added.
