Mumbai, Aug 16: The trailer of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga - Made In India has got super response from the audience and as well as critics alike. But before its release, Smriti Irani, the Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles, Government of India congratulated the team of Sui Dhaaga on Twitter.
She has posted an emotional message and said thanks for using such a concept to promote Made In India products.
She wrote, "Jaha ke kapde, waha ka naam. Kitne hai humare desh mei jo hath ke hunar se na sirf kapdo ko aakaar dete hai balki khud ke sapno ko sakaar bhi karte hai. 'Make In India' sankalpana se bane kapdo ko 'Made In India' ki pehchaan deti Sui Dhaaga film ki safalta hetu shubhkaamnayein."
The film is not just the story of a couple who decides to utilise their talent in the best possible way, but it also focuses on self-reliability, independence of work and fighting to get the due credit for your hardwork.
Directed and written by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga has been made as part of the PM's Make In India campaign.
