Mahesh Babu to play dual role in 'Maharshi'

Hyderabad, Aug 14: Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu's upcoming entertainer Maharshi even before its release is casting a magic spell not only on super star's fans but also on movie lovers.

Expectations are increasing on the film as it happens to be Mahesh's 25th film. As such MaheshBabu and director Vamsi Paidipally are making sure that the film has numerous surprises, thrills and frills to delight everyone.

A couple of days back, on the eve of Mahesh Babu’s birthday, the makers made fans happy by releasing the first look and the title of the film. Mahesh looked stylish in his new look with a beard and mustache, appearing as young and handsome as ever.

In the meantime, rumors are spreading that the film has shades of Bollywood's hit film Swadesh. Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan's Swadesh inspired patriotism, although it ended as a flop.

In the film Mahesh, a super-rich NRI goes to his college days friend Allari Naresh's village from where the story takes an interesting twist. Pooja Hegde is the heroine in the film for which music is scored by Devi Sri Prasad.

Inside talk is the film also deals with father-son relation and Mahesh will be seen as Rishi while his dad will be seen as Maharshi.
