Shocking update on Vijay Devarakonda's next?

Hyderabad, Aug 14: Tollywood Youth Star Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming movie 'Geetha Govindam' is getting a huge release on this Independence Day. The overseas rights are acquired by Sarigama Cinemas and they are releasing the movie in 38 countries with 300 screens.

Vijay Devarakonda's next outing Taxiwaala has been delayed several times and the delay in the VFX work has been cited as the major reason. But sources close to the movie unit confirmed that the makers are not happy with the final copy and they have been making several changes.

The latest update says that Taxiwaala will not have a theatrical release anymore and the film will have a direct digital release.

Vamshi, one of the film's producers who own UV Creations made ample changes for the film and is waiting to ink an interesting deal with one of the digital giants and release the film online. The entire rough draft of Taxiwaala is being circulated online and with a series of delays, the film lost buzz.

Rahul Sankrityan directed the film and GA2 Pictures along with UV Creations bankrolled Taxiwaala. Vijay Devarakonda plays a cab driver in this action thriller.
