PV Sindhu accepts Green Challenge, Nominates Samantha

Hyderabad, Aug 12: Tollywood gorgeous actress Samantha Akkineni is yet to respond on the 'Green challenge' in her own style, passed on by PV Sindhu. The primary aim of Haritha Haram/Green Challenge program is to encourage planting saplings in a competitive and fun way.

PV Sindhu accepted the green challenge thrown by VVS Lakshman and shared her pics on Twitter, where she is seen sapling a plant. PV Sindhu nominated Samantha Akkineni and Suriya. She tweeted, "Challenge acceptedand planted 3 saplings now . Thank you @VVSLaxman281 for nominating me for #HarithaHaram . I'm passing the #greenchallenge to @MangteC @Suriya_offl @Samanthaprabhu2. I hope all of you would join to make our planet greener."

Popular former cricket star VVS Lakshman successfully completed Green challenge thrown by Telangana IT minister KTR. VVS Lakshman who conveyed this news in his twitter account said that KTR took a great initiative and he nominated PV Sindhu.

He wrote on the wall of his twitter,"The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies. Great initiative @KTRTRS, I have planted pomegranate, water apple & Laxman Phal saplings. I nominate @virendersehwag, @M_Raj03 & @Pvsindhu1 to plant 3 trees, nurture them and make #HarithaHaram a sustainable movement" VVS Lakshman said that he has planted the saplings of pomegranate, water apple, and the Laxman Phal saplings.

Meanwhile, Samantha's fans are eagerly waiting for the release of Trailer of U-Turn, which will be out on 17th August 2018.
