When KCR touched Sonia Gandhi feet

Hyderabad, Aug 02: AICC secretary in-charge for Telangana V. Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday alleged that the KCR government was reiterating on the implementation the 'Rythu Bandhu' scheme to support the farmers in the state, but the other hand it was heckling the farmers.

Speaking to media in Huzurabad on Wednesday, Mr Hanumantha Rao alleged that farmer Rajaiah was corded for asking for an error-free Pattadar passbook. He asked the director general of police (DGP) to explain the crime committed by Mr Rajaiah for hooking up him.

Promising that the Congress would stand by the farmer, Mr Hanumantha Rao said his party, which ruled the county for decades, has no history of manacling farmers.

Reacting to IT minister K.T. Rama Rao's comment that the TRS would fight alone in the next general elections and that the lion would come out alone.

Mr Hanumantha Rao said the minister might have forgotten that his father K. Chandrasekhar Rao touched the feet of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi when he made the remark. Mr Hanumantha Rao also alleged that the TRS government was taking the hostage of festivals in the state.
