Stepfather impregnates minor daughter

Bhopal, Aug 02: In a brutal incident, a 14 yr old minor girl was impregnated by her stepfather after she was repeatedly raped by him for over five months.

The incident which occurred in Dewas district of Madhya Pradesh has come into light after the girl was found to be pregnant.

According to Khategaon SI Bishwadeep Singh Parihar, the accused Vijay Bairangi sexually assaulted his 14-year-old step-daughter for five months and threatened to kill her if she revealed the matter to her mother. But the girl's mother learned about the issue when she took her daughter to the hospital after she complained of stomach ache and vomiting.

A doctor at the government hospital who exmained the girl said that she was three months pregnant. Shocked over the incident, when the mother confronted her daughter, the girl narrated her ordeal which fell on deaf ears.

As her mother ignored the matter, the girl approached police to seek their help. She was then shifted to a hospital for treatment by the police who also detained Vijay Bairangi. The police registered a case and arrested him under POCSO act.
