HMDA to distribute eco-friendly Ganesh Idols

Hyderabad, July 28: Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority(HMDA) is planning to supply Chemical free Ganesh idols across the city. Like last year, the authorities focused on the manufacture of chemical-free Ganesh idols.

The officials who invited tenders to the selection of artists and agencies who had experience in making Soil made Ganesh statues. Officials also assigned responsibilities to the Telangana Pottery Society for the preparation of the soil.

This year, Around 40,000 Ganesh idols with 8 feet of height will be supplied. The Govt officials have planned to set up special counter to distribute the Ganesh idols without any cost to the Hyderabad citizens.
