'Special Status' only for that!!

Hyderabad, July 27: Hyderabad: AP special status issue is becoming the most emotional and controversial issue and it is not getting limited just to Andhra Pradesh. Even as TDP MPs are protesting in Delhi in front of the Parliament demanding special status and Jagan's 'YSRCP' and Pawan Kalyan's 'Jana Sena' protesting in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana too is facing the convulsion.

The ruling TRS party and Congress Telangana unit too is spoon-feeding in the war of words. What is surprising all is Congress Telangana unit is opposing TRS non-intervention in opposing special status to AP while the Congress national leadership passed a decision promising special status to AP if it comes to power.

Meanwhile, Telangana Deputy CM Kadiyam Srihari made controversial comments on special status. He said the parties in Andhra Pradesh are demanding and protesting for special status only for political gains. Kadiyam Srihari spoke to the media after meeting Union Minister Prakash Javadekar in Delhi.

He demanded Girijan university as per the AP state reorganization bill. He attacked the Union Government saying it is not responding though Telangana government is promising to allocate land to the university. He said he requested the centre to grant Navodaya and Central schools to the state and also IIIT in Karimnagar.
