RGV is back with another controversial Web Series

Hyderabad, July 26: Tollywood controversial filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma is all set to do a web series titled 'D COMPANY'.

As the title indicates, the same will tell the story of how Dawood Ibrahmin rose from a hoodlum to the status of a dreaded underworld don, his rivalry with Chota Rajan, his involvement in the 1993 Bombay blasts, and his latter-day exile.

"My research on the subject matter of D Company came from my extensive interactions over the last 20 years with gangsters to encounter cops to middlemen of the underworld and also many film people who were involved with the underworld," RGV says.

"I have been collecting data on the underworld not from now, but from the mid 90's onwards even before I made 'Satya' and 'Company'. The script has been locked and shooting will start very soon. It will have at least 5 seasons of 10 episodes each.

Cast and other details will be announced soon," RGV adds.
