Very Bad: Man sexually abused his mother

Hyderabad, July 25: In a cruel incident, Neredmet police have arrested a security guard for harassing his own mother. Unable to bear the harassment, the 62-year-old woman had approached the police for help.

The woman, a resident of Officer's Colony in Neredmet was living with her son Ravi Chander (47), who was unmarried and an alcoholic from a young age. On July 22, Ravi went home in a heavily drunken state and attacked his mother again.

"According to the complaint, he started showering expletives on his mother. When countered by his sister, he thrashed them. He also misbehaved with his younger sister," said Neredmet inspector A. Narsimha Swamy.

A case has been booked against Ravi under sections 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), 354-A (sexual harassment), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation). He was produced in the court for remand, he said.
