Nizamabad: Hamalwadi Residents in double murder case

Nizamabad, July 24: The cops of Nizamabad had arrested 3 persons in connection with a double murder case here on Sunday. They were identified as Mogulla Sai Prasad Yadav alias Talwar Sai(22), his brother Mogulla Mahender Yadav(19), and Dhatrika Sanjay(19), all residents of Hamalwadi in the district.

The cops also recovered a dagger and cricket bats used to murder the 2 brothers — Badri Pawan Kalyan Yadav and Badri Narsing Yadav — on Saturday.

Nizamabad assistant commissioner M. Sudarshan said that some hatred among the youngsters led to the double murder.

Mr Sudarshan said Talwar had malice with Pawan and Narsing and plotted to kill 1 of them. As part of the plan, Talwar picked up a fight with a friend of the 2 brothers while playing cricket at old Railway court ground on Saturday evening.

Seeing the onslaught, Pavan and Narsing rushed to the spot. Talwar then got into an argument with the duo and stabbed them with the blade while his fellow friends beat them with cricket bats, the ACP said.

Reportedly, the accused also stabbed another person named Prem, but he escaped with minor injuries.
