TDP-Congress discuss Seat-sharing!!

Hyderabad, July 23: One of the Telugu newspapers quoted that Congress and TDP were in discussion on desirable seat-sharing measures for contesting the 2019 polls.

Reportedly, the matter intensifies that Congress and TDP will fight together in both the Telugu states in Andhra Pradesh as well as in Telangana.

As part of the deal, Congress may achieve high count in the number of seats in Telangana while TDP will be the highest grosser in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the information available from Political analysts, the TDP asked for 30 assembly seats and 3 Parliament seats in Telangana whereas Congress is willing to confess 15 assembly seats and 2 Parliament seats.

In Khammam explicitly, TDP wants 3 assembly seats and the MP ticket. Congress is okay with the Assembly seats but wants the Lok Sabha seat.

In Andhra Pradesh, Congress wants 50 assembly and 6 Lok Sabha seats whereas TDP is willing to give 25 assembly seats.
