PK shares her bad experience with Tollywood Producer

Hyderabad, July 23: Poonam Kaur who made her debut with SV Krishna Reddy's directorial 'Mayajalam' however appeared in several movies like 'Oka V Chitram', 'Souryam', 'Vinayakudu','Ganesh', 'Nagavalli', 'Gaganam', 'Brahmigadi Katha' and 'Aadu Magaadra Bujji'.

The actress whose debut TV serial 'Swarna Khadgam' is now airing on ETV has been now promoting herself. On an interaction with the media, Poonam has revealed many dark secrets of her life.

Poonam whose name was recently dragged into Pawan Kalyan and Kathi Mahesh's controversy said that she went through a bad experience with a leading producer sometime ago.

"This top producer came to my house and appreciated my acting skills and promised me films opposite Tollywood Top stars. He asked me to meet him next week at his office. I went along with my mother to meet him. Unexpected to see me with my mother, he didn't even speak properly. Until the day, he has not offered a single role. Actresses have to go through a lot of indignity and sufferings unlike the male actors," Poonam expressed how tough it is for female actors in Tollywood.

At one time, she was very active on Twitter and some of her tweets had led to huge controversy.

"But no one came forward to support during that controversy. Not even women organizations lent support to me. It was my family that stood by me. However, I have decided to put an end to unnecessary controversies and deactivated my Twitter account," she describes the reason for leaving the Twitter.
