Amala Paul opened up on Casting Couch

Hyderabad, July 22: Kollywood sizzling actress Amala Paul reacts on Casting Couch/sexual harassment issue recently!

After several Indian actors opened up about the Casting Couch in the film industry, now it is the turn of Amala Paul! The actress said, "The girl who has very low confidence, cannot survive in the film Industry. Casting couch exists everywhere. It is not only the part of the entertainment industry. The women who are working in other professional field, is also facing casting couch."

Amala Paul added, "If the girl has self confidence and has ability to stick on her decision without fear, can survive here and face them boldly without any compromise. The girls who are not psychologically strong are not suitable for film industry."

In the month of February, Amala Paul has also said that she was sexually harassed in Chennai. She also filed a complaint with T Nagar police station. Later the police arrested the businessman who harassed her. His name was Azhagesan.

Amala Paul said,"When I had gone to do the dance rehearsal, a man spoke to me unpleasantly when I was alone inside. He has spoken like he was conducting a sexual trade for a favour. I was very shocked and humiliated. That's why I immediately came to complain to police station. This incident was occurred at the dance studio of Kollywood choreographer Sridhar."

Amala Paul is not the only actress who has become the victim of such type of incidents (Casting Couch) in film industry. Many actresses that include big names of Tollywood, Bollywood and Kollywood, in India have been molested or harassed in public.

Amala Paul has been the part of few Telugu movies- Janda Pai Kapiraju, Naayak and Iddarammayilatho. Currently the talented actress is busy in her upcoming projects- Raatchasan and Aadujeevitham, which are in different production stages.
