Amaravati, July 22: TDP MP Galla Jayadev has stunned the Parliament with his speech highlighting the injustice done to the Andhra Pradesh state after state division.
Prior kick-starting his elocution, the TDP MP said he will be focusing on the special category status and financial related issues of the AP Re-organisation act.
Speaking at the Parliament, TDP MP Galla Jayadev illustrated many of the facts regarding Andhra Pradesh......
~ It has been 4 years since the bill has been passed. And 2 new states were formed one is an old state with a new name while the other is a new state with the old name.
~ Telangana is not a new state, AP is the new state. So, all the challenges and burdens to be faced by a new face are being faced by us(People of AP).
~ We are the ones who have to build the new capital, an industrial base, an educational base whereas Telangana has all of them already.
~ But, uncertainty and difficulty go back several decades ago. It intensified in the decade leading up to bifurcation and we continued to struggle even after the 4 years after state division with the same uncertainty.
~ So, we need relief from this uncertainty, instead of providing this, PM Modi's regime has further troubled the new state with more challenges.
In his speech during 'No Confidence Motion' move, Guntur TDP MP has alleged that the state bifurcation was made in an undemocratic manner and further alleged that it was unscientific and unethical.
Reacting to TDP MP Galla's speech, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said already they talked on those issues on a number of times at all the venues of dharna, rallies, AP Assembly and protest events from Galli to Delhi.
