Nizamabad MP Kavitha accepts green challenge

Hyderabad, July 22: In a wake of eco-friendly initiative, The Nizamabad MP K Kavitha took forward the 'Hara Hai To Bhara Hai Challenge'.

Following the green challenge is thrown at her by Priyanka Varghese, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for Haritha Haram, Kavitha took to Twitter sharing a picture of a sapling planted by her.

"accepted Priyanka's nomination and doing my bit for greener world," she wrote. Further, Kavitha nominated ace Badminton player Saina Nehwal, Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali, Baahubali film director SS Rajamouli and Andhra Jyothi Managing Director, Vemuri Radhakrishna to participate in the challenge.

The challenge was started by Igniting Minds, an organization dedicated to follow former President APJ Abdul Kalam's footsteps. The members of the organization had challenged Priyanka Varghese, who planted three saplings in Medchal and tagged K Kavitha, Secretary to the Chief Minister Smita Sabharwal, and Medchal District Collector MV Reddy to join the cause.
