Now it is known that, Sensational Director RGV has announced recently that he will do another biopic of Sanjay Dutt very soon.
RGV is not too happy with Rajkumar Hirani's Sanju, and has decided to come out with his own film, which will reportedly revolve around the AK-56 chapter of the actor's life.
Sanjay's sister Namrata Dutt is upset with this development. She told a leading publication, "It was an unfortunate episode in Sanjay's life. He has moved past it. Why is Varma bringing up the past again?"
While Sanju had its share of laughs, Ram Gopal Varma is known for a more gritty style of filmmaking. "His movies are dark. Why do you want to go on and on about Sanjay's life? Why is he putting us through so much pain again?" she asked.
Sanjay Dutt acquired an AK-56 rifle in January 1993. After the serial bomb blasts rocked Mumbai in March that year, he was arrested and charged under the stringent Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act or TADA for criminal conspiracy along with aiding and abetting terrorism, among others.
