Hyderabad Metro Services to LB Nagar to be launched soon

Hyderabad, July 21: In a significant development, Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) will extend its services to LB Nagar in the last week of August and to Hitech City in October, HMR Managing Director N V S Reddy said.

Speaking at the 6th Facilities Management Council (FMC) Summit 2018 held at Cyber Convention Center at Madhapur here last evening, Mr. Reddy said Miyapur-LB Nagar connectivity will go live by the end of August or first week of September.

Similarly Metro will commence its services to Hitech city in October or November this year. " It is 230 days since Prime Minister launched Metro in the city. About 85,000 passengers are commuting through Metro Rail every day in the city from Nagole-Miyapur", he added.

Metro Rail Chief Marketing Officer Rishi Kumar said that the Metro Rail would work with FMC to organize Handloom Melas in Major Metro Railway Stations very soon.

"We have opened two malls and two more malls will come up at Erramanzil and Moosarambagh", he said and added that few stalls were also set up to promote handlooms and cultivate plastic free offices.
