Interesting Update on Rajinikanth's NEXT

Chennai, July 19: After the debacle of super Star Rajinikanth flick Kaala, the actor has started his new project on Sun Entertainments. Rajinikanth is busy with this film which is yet to be titled. 

Young and talented Karthick Subbaraj is the director and the first schedule of the film has been wrapped up recently. 

According to the sources, For this massive flick, Super Star Rajinikanth will be seen essaying a role with dual shades in the film. He will be playing a hostel warden in the morning and he turns a mafia don during the nights.

Simran and Vijay Sethupathi will essay other pivotal roles in this light-hearted entertainer that is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. 

 The project would mark Nawazuddin's debut in the Tamil-language film industry; the Hindi actor was last seen in Netflix's Sacred Games, where his role as Mumbai gangster Ganesh Gaitonde was highly lauded. 

 Apart from Rajinikanth and Simran, the Subbaraj-helmed feature will also star Bobby Simhaa, Sananth Reddy and Megha Akash. The film is being shot in locations as varied as Dehradun, Darjeeling and Chennai, with the last reportedly having specially-created sets, which will be the scene of the climax.

Sun Pictures, which is backing the picture announced the same on Twitter: “We are happy to announce that for the first time, @SimranbaggaOffc and @Nawazuddin_S will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures.”

 The next schedule of the film will start in Chennai from August.
