Jio to launch Monsoon Hungama Exchange Offer

New Delhi, July 18: India's giant telecom network operator Reliance Jio is coming with new Monsoon Hungama Exchange offer. which will be launched on July 20.

With the offer, any user of the JioPhone or any other feature phone can exchange the for New Jio Phone 1 by surrendering the old device and paying Rs 501. This process seems more affordable than the offer given for availing JioPhone 1 on the time of launch. To avail the JioPhone 1, the user needs to pay Rs 1,500. However, Rs 1,500 is paid as a deposit payment that will be given back to the customer after three years.

Earlier, in the first phone Jio, there was no facility to operate social networking sites such as WhatsApp, Facebook or YouTube. Now, both Jiophone 1 and the coming device, Jio Phone 2, there will be an upgrade to allow the abovementioned apps, just like they do in Airtel’s Karbonn smartphone.

Upon combining this phone with the cheapest plan of Reliance Jio, which is Rs 49 pack, a user can get the best package at a reasonable price. The Rs 49 pack offers 1.5GB a day along with free calling benefits. This package of the offer will be hardly achieved by other leading rival telecom companies such as Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India, and Idea Cellular.

Reliance Jio's package also allows the user to watch videos with the collaborative Rs 501 phone and Rs 49 pack, which may not be possible with a 2G phone. Although it is not clearly evident how well Rs 501 plan will work, there is a strong belief among public and the industry that this plan will help the telco reach its target of 100 million with regard to JioPhones.
