Allu Arjun Kept waiting for him

Hyderabad, July 17: The success meet of 'Vijetha' was held in Hyderabad on Sunday with Allu Arjun as the chief guest. However, the event, which was supposed to start at 1'o clock in the afternoon. Starring Chiranjeevi's younger son-in-law, Kalyaan Dhev got delayed because of his delay in arrival.

Apparently, Chiranjeevi is known for his discipline and punctuality till date. But it appears his son-in-law, who is new to the industry, doesn't entrust in following his footsteps.

"Allu Arjun was waiting at home from 12 noon onwards to come to this event, but Kalyaan didn't come, so he kept waiting," says a source, adding that although Kalyan was with Chiranjeevi at the latter's house, he didn't respond to any calls.

"At last, the event organizers called Kalyaan and told him that Bunny had to attend a family lunch at which point, Kalyan initiated from home," adds the source.

In the meantime, female lead Malavika Nair also arrived soon and kept waiting for Kalyan, with the organizers wanting her to wait it out.

The event finally began after Kalyan Dhev arrived at 1.45 pm. And sadly, the actor did not even apologize for his detention.

"I just landed some time ago from Vijayawada," he said as he began his speech. Contrastingly, many of the team members, who also landed from Vijayawada, came to the event on time.

Allu Arjun praised Kalyan Dhev for his debut performance and congratulated him. The actor also expressed his wish to work with Sai Korrapati, the film's producer.

"I like all your films and you have always made films with a passion. So, I would like to work with Varahi films and we will work together when good content comes our way," said the star.
