Tollywood Drugs case: Supreme court verdict

New Delhi, July 16: In the sensational Tollywood Drugs case the Supreme Court ordered centre to form rules & regulations for the prevention of drugs. The bench has heard the petition of Director cum producer Kethireddy Jagadeeswar Reddy over Tollywood drugs case.

The Jury led by Justice Deepak Mishra ordered centre to present the formed rules & regulations in court before 31st August but Additional Solicitor General Maninder Singh appealed for 2 months time, on behalf of centre while stating that the reason for the delay is AIIMS. SC has adjourned the case to September 10th.

Last Year government officials busted a major drug cartel in Hyderabad, several big names from the Telugu film industry like Puri Jagannadh, Charmee Kaur, Ravi Teja, Cinematographer Shyam K Naidu , Tarun, Mumaith Khan, Tanish, singer Ananda Krishna Nandu, art director Chinna N Dharmarao, Navdeep and other came under the scanner.

Excise officers who issued notices to these celebrities questioned each other each day with the information given by Kelvin- the drug dealer.
