Mahesh Babu fans cause disturbance, Police injured

Hyderabad, July 16: Hyderabad: On Sunday morning, the film actor Mahesh Babu visited a textile showroom located on the main road at Kukatpally 'Y' junction. However, a thousand of the actor's fans went to the showroom to see him.

When the fans of actor Mahesh Babu created a minor panic during the inauguration of a textile store at Kukatpally on Sunday, a police inspector and a woman received minor injuries in the rush.

Although the Kukatpally police had positioned security personnel, the crowd burst towards the stage and the security workforce failed to control the rabble moving closer to the stage that was initiated by the showroom authority to expedite the actor to talk to his fans.

A charge took place when the police failed to control the throng from moving towards the stage to see the actor from a closer gap. A woman, who fell down during the fling and became senseless was soon taken to a side and was given first aid.

Meanwhile, KPHB detective inspector A. Venkatesham, who was on duty at the spot, also suffered injury when an iron pole fell on his right shoulder.
