Vijay Devarakondas Filmfare Award sold for whopping price

Hyderabad, July 16: Tollywood Young Hero Vijay Deverakonda has auctioned (sold) his first Filmfare award to Divi Laboratories for Rs 25 Lakhs.

As we know that young hero Vijay Deverakonda, won the film fare award for his wonderful performance in Arjun Reddy, which is directed by Sundeep Reddy Vanga. He was nominated alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Prabhas and Jr NTR in the category of best actor.

After winning Filmfare award, Vijay Deverakonda announced that he would auction his filmfare award and the money which would be raised, would be donated to Chief Minister relief fund. Finally, his film fare award has been auctioned and he has received Rs 25 Lakhs from Shakunthala Divi of Divi Labs.



On this occasion, Vijay Deveakonda said, "My parents have supported me to pursue my dream in acting. I have done very hard work for 'Yevade Subramanyam' and after this, there is no looking back."

From past few days, Vijay Deverakona has been creating a lot of buzz on social media by posting his shirtless pics. Finally today he has launched his own clothing line Rowdy Wear.

He said, "4 years ago, during the shoot of 'Yevade Subramanyam', he had no decent clothes to visit film offices for the audition."

He added that he had requested the producers of 'Yevade Subramanyam' to lend him some costumes for wearing them whenever he goes out to meet people.

On the work side, currently Vijay Deverakonda is waiting for the release of Taxiwaala and he is romancing with Rashmika Mandanna in upcoming romantic entertainer Geetha Govindam. Apart from these movies, Vijay Deverakonda will also be seen in NOTA and Dear Comrade.
