'RX 100' impact on Kalyaan Dhev's launch

Hyderabad, July 14: Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi's son-in-law Kalyaan Dhev's debut film 'Vijetha' was released on Thursday to a tepid response. Even though Chiranjeevi attended the audio function and spoke highly about the film, the openings were very poor, reportedly.

This is in pointed comparison to 'RX 100', another small film with relatively new faces that got good openings.

"Mega heroes Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan Allu Arjun and Sai Dharam Tej have a huge fan following. Despite all this, Chiru's son-in-law got a very poor show on an opening day with collections down from standard," says a trade analyst.

Interestingly, of the two small movies that released on Thursday, 'RX 100' is getting good collections, thanks to some bold scenes and interesting twists in the film.

Finally, Rakesh Sashi is the director of Vijetha while Ajay Bhupathi made his debut as a director with RX 100.
