Nag-Nani multi-starrer 'Devadas' release date locked

Hyderabad, Jul 12: Tollywood much awaited crazy multi-starrer of star heroes Nagarjuna Akkineni and Nani entitled as Devadas announced recently.

The multi-starrer titled as 'Devadas', which needs no introduction as it and the title poster is with gun, bullets and a charitable hospital's letterhead.

A few days back we had revealed that the Nagarjuna and Nani starrer, Devadas is nearing its completion soon. The latest we hear is that the film has now been scheduled for a 27th September release.

Sri Ram Aditya is directing this film which is being produced by Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanti Movies banner and C Dharmaraju Presents. Nagarjuna plays a don in this film whereas Nani plays a doctor, while Aakanksha Singh and Rashmika Mandanna are playing the female lead roles. The film is a full-on comic entertainer with all the right action elements.

This is the first time that Nani and Nagarjuna are pairing up with each other and this is the reason the film has become the talking point all over.

That’s what quite interesting as it is completely contrasted to the title we might expect. Overall, this 'Devadas' gives the impression of new age drama unlike the old one. The film touted to be an out and out comedy entertainer, Mani Sharma is composing music.

The source added, "Nani will also jump into the cricket field for Gowtam Tinnanuri's sports drama 'Jersey', which is likely to roll from September. Most likely, he'd start shooting for it towards the year-end."

Currently, Nani is playing as host for Telugu popular reality show Bigg Boss2, which was scheduled for 100 days.
