Unbelievable: Sex Racket in Yadadri

Hyderabad, Jul 12: The Telangana's prestigious shrine Yadagirigutta town has witnessed illegal activities again here on Wednesday.

Yadagirigutta Circle Inspector of Police Ashok Kumar here on Wednesday said Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat had invoked Preventive Detention (PD) Act against four women who were allegedly involved in illegal activities at Yadagirigutta.

According to a press note released by Rachakonda Police, the brothel organisers were identified as Kamsani Sandhya (55), Kamsani Shasirekha (55), Kamsani Buchamma (45) and Kamsani Nirmala (42), all residents of Ganesh Nagar in Yadagirigutta.

The police said the four women were running a brothel house procuring women and girls from their community from other parts of the district.

Sandhya was heading the group which induced girls into the flesh trade by offering money and a luxurious lifestyle. While they charged their customers' large sums of money, very little was paid to the girls, the police said.

The accused were previously arrested by the police and remanded to judicial custody on charges of running a brothel, however, they did not mend their ways and continued with their previous ways after release.

Police rescued four victims from the house in which the accused ran their business. To prevent human trafficking and prostitution and to preserve public order, Preventive Detention orders were invoked against them by the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, Mahesh M. Bhagwat.
