Another Sex Racket in Hyd

Hyderabad, July 08: In a shocking Incident, The Hyderabad police on Saturday busted a high profile commercial sex racket in a five-star hotel and rescued an actress from Mumbai. The Police officials have arrested two organizers and a customer.

According to the city police commissioner's task force deputy commissioner P Radhakrishna Rao, the organizers booked a room in Radisson Hotel at Banjara Hills and brought the 24-year-old actress on contract for a week for a sum of Rs 1 lakh remuneration.

The organizers, Ambula Janardhan Rao @ Jony and Banothu Prasanth collect between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000 from each customer.

On Saturday, the police got a tip-off and raided the hotel room. While Prasanth was absconding, Jony, the actress and a customer were present.

The police treated the actress as a victim and rescued her. Janardhan and customer Amit Mahendra Sharma were arrested. Rs 40,000 cash besides several other things were seized. The accused had booked the room on Friday.

Task force inspector K Nageswar Rao, who raided the hotel room, said Janardhan, a native of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, was earlier arrested on similar charges.
