Vijayawada: Polytechnic Student gang-raped

Vijayawada, Jul 05: In a gruesome incident, a Polytechnic student was allegedly brutally gang-raped by four students at a secluded place near VUDA Colony in Vijayawada on Wednesday evening.

According to the Police information, It is learned that one of the students is known to her and took the victim to the isolated location. Locals found her in an unconscious state and informed the cops. Immediately, the victim was rushed to the government hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

Police suspect that the student had to give drugs to the victim girl, then gang-raped and fled away from the spot. The police have registered a case and took two students into the custody and launched a hunt to nab the remaining two. Further probe is underway.
