Bangladesh Bundled Out For 43 VS West Indies

Jamaica, July 05: Bangladesh Created the cheapest record in an international career while going details, Bangladesh all out for 43 runs against West Indies in the 1st Test at the United States of America at North Sound.

The total also is the tenth lowest total in the history of Test cricket, dating back to the 18th century.

The hosts won the toss and opted to field first and that seemed to be the right decision as the visitor’s got bundled out before lunch on Day 1.

Kemar Roach picked up a quick 5-for, Miguel Cummins picked up 3 and captain Jason Holder cleaned up the tail by picking up 2 wickets and bundling out the hosts for 43/10 – the lowest score in Bangladesh’s test history!

Not just was it their lowest test score, but it was also the second shortest test innings in terms of deliveries faced, facing 112 balls (18.4 overs). This was second only to Australia's 111 deliveries faced against England at Trent Bridge in 2015.

For Bangladesh Litton Das scored 25, which unfortunately for the visitor's was their highest and the only player to get to double-digits. Two of the most experienced batsmen Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim departed without scoring and that meant the innings was going one-way, downhill!
