TDP Man slipper attack on AP BJP President

Nellore, Jul 04: The Andhra Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Kanna Laxminarayan has been attacked with slippers by a man, who was an activist from the Telugu Desam Party.

The man threw sandals on Kanna Laxminarayan while he was participating in a rally at Kavali of Nellore district on Wednesday.

After such incident, The BJP activists thrashed him allegedly. The Police have arrested the man and taken into custody.

Later, BJP activists protested in front of the police station against the slipper attack on Kanna Laxminarayan. They alleged that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders were encouraging attacks on BJP leaders which is not correct.

BJP leaders also reminded that earlier, TDP activists attacked on BJP National President Amit Shah's vehicle at Tirupati and added that when the TDP was not in a position to give reply, the party activists were attacking the leaders of BJP.
