Drastic incident: B.Tech Student commits suicide

Hyderabad, Jul 02: Here is a drastic incident has unveiled while a 21-year-old Engineering student committed suicide by hanging himself due to academic pressure. This happened in Nizampet on Saturday night.

The Bachupally police have identified the deceased as S. Sainath, a student of Gokaraju Rangaraju Engineering college, Hyderabad hailing from Adilabad.

Inspector of Bachupally, K. Balakrishna Reddy said, "He completed B.Tech 3rd year and was undergoing coaching during the holidays."

Reportedly, he mentioned to his friends that he was finding it difficult to study for the competitive exams.

However, Police booked a case under Section 174 (a) and started an investigation. The body was sent for postmortem at the Gandhi hospital.
