NRI college student rape video; New twist in marriage proposal

Vijayawada, June 30: For raping and videographing the crime, the accused were arrested at NRI college, Vijayawada. After the investigation, Police had revealed many unknown things.

The Police sources informed that the 3 students who are involved in the case used to threaten the girl by blackmailing her with the videos and demand money whenever they need.

After blackmailing the girl several times, they even took her gold chain and many valuable products. However, the girl informed her parents that she had lost it somewhere.

Knowing about her marriage proposal, they once again started to harass her for their Physical and as well as financial needs. If not, they would show off her videos to her fiance.

The primary convicts, in this case, are Krishna Vamsi, Sivareddy and Praveen who have completed their studies and working currently.

The Police case was registered on college management considering it in the 'Case of Negligence' in the IPC on not approaching the Police when the issue got raised.

However, the rape video has been shared in few WhatsApp groups of which the group admins got informed and if not there would be legal action taken over the group admins, the Police department sources explained.
