Ramesh hunger strike: TDP MPs make fun

Kadapa, June 29: The hunger strike called by TDP MP CM Ramesh against the Centre over the Kadapa steel plant entered its ninth day on Thursday.

The TDP has been protesting against the Centre's failure to set up a steel plant in Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa. Officials told TNM on Thursday that Ramesh’s health is deteriorating, but he will not be breaking his fast.

TDP MPs were caught making fun of Hunger Strike for Kadapa Steel Plant, while the video has gone viral on media channels. Initiating the funny conversation at Delhi, the TDP MPs have turned the hunger strike as a weight reduction treatment.

MP Murali Mohan said he could do hunger strike for a week as he had already lost 5 kgs. Adding to his comments, JC Diwakar Reddy made funny comments on Avanti Srinivas, calling him Don.

While the other leaders also enjoyed the funny talk. Here is the video, watch here:

CM Ramesh, who had sought an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier, began his hunger strike last week along with TDP MLC Mareddy Ravindranath Reddy at the Zilla Parishad office premises in Kadapa.

After Mareddy's health deteriorated on Wednesday, the police shifted him to a local hospital for treatment and forced him to break his fast, amid protests from TDP members. The police, however, had failed to stop CM Ramesh from continuing his strike.
