iPhone X new version to get @Rs. 50000

New Delhi, June 25: In a good news for iPhone lovers, iPhone case maker Olixar had confirmed earlier that Apple will be launching a budget-friendly iPhone X variant featuring a 6.1-inch.

According to a report by Forbes, the upcoming Apple iPhone X variant with 6.1-inch display to could to launched at a starting price of $600 which roughly translates to Rs 40,869 in India. Considering taxes and duties, Apple could launch this iPhone X variant for just under Rs 50,000.

While there is no information on the official name of the device, reports so far have claimed that this budget iPhone will feature an iPhone X-like notch display and will be slightly larger in size. The Forbes report suggests that this device will measure 5.79 x 2.81-inches.

While the device will look like the original iPhone X, it will not have several flagship features. It will be considered as an entry-level iPhone replacing the much talked about iPhone SE 2.

The new budget iPhone X with 6.1-inch display will offer FaceID and there will be no fingerprint scanner. On the downside, the display will be LCD and not OLED. The rear will look similar to the iPhone X with a standard single-lens setup and glass panel. The device will support wireless charging. However, it will not support 3D Touch.

For those unaware, Apple reportedly may have completely cancelled the iPhone SE 2 altogether.

Based on this information, Olixar is has even started to make accessories for the 6.1-inch iPhone X variant. Earlier reports claimed that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 2 as a mini iPhone X for a lesser price.
